It should come as no surprise that the technocrats are taking away your guns. No – they have not started looting your gun safe yet; however, they are replacing handguns in your catalog of emojis with a toy gun or squirt gun. On April 25, 2018, Google released an update to its emojis which depicted a squirt gun in lieu of a pistol. This is a change from the company’s previous emojis which have always resembled real firearms. On the same day, Microsoft jumped on the bandwagon and announced that it would change its handgun emoji to resemble a water gun in its upcoming release of Windows 10.
However, Google and Microsoft are not the first as their changes follow similar ones from other tech companies. Apple replaced its pistol emoji with a toy gun in 2016 followed by WhatsApp and Samsung with Twitter joining earlier this month. Facebook appears to have a new design on the horizon and others are sure to follow suit.
To me, this type of conduct goes hand in hand with the removal on historical monuments by those that apparently are offended by the history of this country and the orchestrated agenda of educators and revisionists to rewrite history to be less offensive. Frankly, history has been offensive in a number of ways and everyone needs to know what happened and how it happened so we do not have a repeat of history’s most horrific tragedies. Let us not forget the tragedies that befell other nations that allowed the government to take away an individual’s ability to defend themselves, their families and their neighbors. Examples include the Soviet Union that, in 1929, enacted gun control laws and from 1929 to 1953 exterminated nearly 20 million people; Turkey that, in 1911, enacted gun control laws and from 1915 to 1917 exterminated nearly 1.5 million Armenians; Germany that, in 1938, enacted gun control laws and from 1939 to 1945 exterminated nearly 13 million people; or China that, in 1935, enacted gun control laws and from 1948 to 1952 exterminated 20 million people. History is replete with examples and statements such as those made by Hitler in 1942
“The most foolish mistake we could possibly make would be to allow the subjugated races to possess arms. History shows that all conquerors who have allowed their subjugated races to carry arms have prepared their own downfall by so doing. Indeed, I would go so far as to say that the supply of arms to the underdogs is a sine qua non for the overthrow of any sovereignty. So let’s not have any native militia or native police.”

I know this seems extreme given that we are talking about emojis; however, like many others, I have had enough with all of the political correctness, rewriting of history and chipping away at my fundamental constitutional rights. As if spying on me through my phone and apps wasn’t enough, now you want to take away my gun emojis too. When is enough simply enough. In the end I refer to the title above “Where Have all the Gun Emojis Gone?” and I truly hope in a few years I am not asking “Where have all the guns gone?”.
